FynX Solutions – Customer Terms & Conditions

Welcome to FynX Solutions.

By using our platform and booking services through FynX Solutions (“FynX”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Platform Role

FynX Solutions is a technology platform that connects customers with independent service professionals (“Pros”).

FynX does not perform electrical, plumbing, cleaning, moving, or repair services.

All services are provided by independent contractors, not employees of FynX Solutions.

2. Independent Contractors

All Pros using the platform are independent contractors.

FynX does not control how services are performed and is not responsible for the quality, safety, or outcome of any work.

Any agreement for services is made directly between the customer and the Pro.

3. Service Call Fee (Electrical & Plumbing)

For electrical and plumbing services, a Service Call fee of $80 CAD applies.

This fee covers:

Travel time
On-site visit
Initial inspection and diagnosis

Payment Authorization

At the time of booking, your payment method will be authorized (held) for the Service Call fee.

This is not an immediate charge.

When You Are Charged

The Service Call fee is charged only after:

The Pro arrives at your location, and
You confirm their arrival through the platform

Once confirmed, the Service Call fee becomes non-refundable.

4. Quotes & Repair Work

After diagnosing the issue, the Pro may provide a quote for additional work.

No repair work will begin without your approval
You will receive the full price before accepting

Payment for Repairs

If you approve the repair:

Your payment method will be charged immediately via Stripe
The total amount will include any agreed service fees

5. Payments & Security

All payments are processed securely via Stripe.

By submitting payment, you authorize FynX Solutions to charge your payment method for:

Service Call fees (as described above)
Approved repair work
Applicable taxes

FynX does not store your card details.

6. Cancellations & No-Show Policy

Customer Cancellation

You may cancel a booking before a Pro accepts the job without charge
If a Pro has accepted but not yet arrived, cancellation may still be allowed without charge (at platform discretion)

After Arrival

If the Pro has arrived and you confirm their arrival:

The Service Call fee applies and is non-refundable

No-Show (Pro)

If the Pro does not arrive:

You will not be charged
Any authorization will be released

7. Disputes & Refunds

FynX Solutions may assist in resolving disputes between customers and Pros.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Refunds may be considered in cases such as:

Fraudulent behavior
Serious misconduct
Failure to perform agreed services

FynX does not guarantee refunds for completed services.

8. Limitation of Liability

FynX Solutions is not liable for:

Property damage
Personal injury
Service delays
Unsatisfactory work
Any indirect or consequential damages

Liability, where applicable, is limited to the amount paid through the FynX platform for the specific booking.

9. User Responsibilities

By using FynX, you agree to:

Provide accurate information
Ensure safe access to the property
Treat service providers respectfully
Not attempt to bypass the platform for payments

10. Platform Integrity

Customers may not:

Arrange off-platform payments with Pros
Encourage cash or direct transactions
Attempt to avoid platform fees

Violation of these rules may result in account restriction.

11. Changes to Terms

FynX Solutions may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of updated Terms.
